Title: Grow Lead (Compliance)

Reporting to: Head Grower

Direct Reports: Grow Associates

Location: Monson, MA


Role Overview


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a focus on horticulture, manufacturing, crop management or 2 or more years of relevant work experience. A background in IT, math, computer science or data entry is a plus. Experience in production and supply chain management is desired. This position will work closely with and report to our Head Grower, managing the collection, tracking and recording of data from Production and planning representatives in all stages and aspects of production and harvest. Key qualities this candidate should embody includes some management skills, being proactive while exemplifying dimensions of adaptability, problem solving and analysis and versatility. Desired work ethic for this role is comprised of being detail oriented, highly organized, positive, enthusiastic, eager to learn and a good communicator. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.


Compliance Responsibilities (include, but not limited to)


  • Insuring all cuttings are tracked in METRC
  • Insuring all plants are in tagged when transitioned into veg and from veg to flower
  • Insuring records are are updated weekly in METRC to match all physical plant processes that occurred during the week


Supply Chain Responsibilities


  • Creating and updating the inventory and supplies for all cultivation materials
  • Coordinating with distribution manager to insure all supplies are ordered, received and logged into inventory
  • Update inventory records and log sheets on a weekly basis


Supporting Responsibilities (to production representatives)


  • Following pest management procedures
  • Maintaining quality control
  • Take and root cuttings
  • Transplant
  • Netting
  • Transition veg-flower
  • Pruning
  • Tray movement
  • Tray cleaning
